This has made folk nowadays just a touch too picky and scared of commitment or any type of situation that requires emotional endurance (which we all know romantic relationships require much of π π€·ββοΈ).
It can be far more difficult (if even possible) for people with significant levels of empathy, compassion, and understanding to inflict harm onto others when necessary. Just sayin'.

Despite everything that is going on in Gaza and Ukraine and whatnot, people need to be capable of and willing to commit acts of violence, but not in the context of meaningless slaughter like the current conflicts that are going on. Although, violence in a strictly self defensive context is essential.

I would like to add something as well: many people nowadays seem to underestimate the amount of emotional endurance that's required during long-term relationships. They would rather use things such as dating apps that "match" you with others based on what online characteristics they present to you, when in reality it's just better to go out and meet someone and find out all those things during face-to-face interactions. Having some mutual characteristics doesn't mean you'll fall in love in any way π.
