The protocol is ok ig, but the UI is just awful, and the global timeline looks like whatever bullshit bitcoinhackers.org users usually post

You have to click to see notifications (I don't have the object permanence for this) which then take up the entire screen which in turn discourages you from clicking them because it interrupts the timeline viewing experience.

The permanent notifications bar in the third column is perfect, I can see it all the time and it does not intrude on my scroooolling.

They are not even displayed in the chronological order, and take some time to refresh or something

tbh pleroma-fe is the perfect UI, I only wish that your timeline selection would persist instead of always defaulting to home timeline
