Bitcoin maxi. Nostr Maxi. Life maxi.

It strikes me that as a child I was taught the half life of radiation but not the half life of the dollar

Is there Capital Gains Tax selling Bitcoin you’ve mined?

How the hell can they keep up?

I work with some incredible people and they still have no idea. Folks haven’t got a clue what’s coming

Bought a Ninja Foodi Max Grill and Air Fryer thing. Tbh the air fryer thing passed me by, I’m a late adopter but I reckon they’re onto something. Cooks stuff quicker and I presume cheaper than ovens and I’ve used it for everything this week.

Not as good as the iron pan for steaks of course, but it’s good enough. Going into winter knowing I can cook steaks without the fire alarms going off every day, and having no longer have to open all the doors and windows when it gets cold. And it definitely makes meals a LOT quicker to prepare

How do I boost this? nostr:note1jewckg8c36pxl50r947pmmzsa6cezu9pmelx9t4g25t9y3utfevskm9wzx

I continue to find myself in conversations with people contemplating how our modern monetary system will develop. They all agree that it is failing. They discuss where to look. They look to the dollar, the ruble, the yuan, to gold, to "a basket of goods"... They theorize deeply as to how political changes may influence human action toward one of these options.

I am dumbfounded as to how these deep thinkers are missing Bitcoin. They quickly dismiss it mostly because it's digital. For some reason, which I cannot comprehend, this is still considered a "risk." They cannot contemplate a system with minimal human intervention.

The gold bugs come close. They understand a system that is backed by physics, but they lose it because they remain under the assumption that this "Internet fad" might someday go away...

If the Internet is here to stay, and the majority of the infrastructure will remain intact (and more likely improve,) Bitcoin is the only direction to go. Bitcoin is "backed" by physics, by energy... I don't think most people realize how profound and advanced of a development this is for humanity. It blows my mind and continues to astound me every day for years. It is such an impactful discovery that it takes nearly all of my mental energy.

Bitcoin is not a speculative investment; it is an inevitability. That's not to say that we might not screw it up in the near future, but a more advanced and responsible society would 100% come to the conclusion that a system like Bitcoin is the necessary advancement to hold and transfer value.

I'm going to be pissed if we fuck this up.
