Can you add some install and run instructions for the Go dummies?
Ideally also a Docker-compose 😀

Flach mit "Touch me"
Cheers.
Anyone know how often Lightning ⚡ payouts from nostr:nprofile1qqsq9k04vahllseell55m74n3047y88pzlr0z5yany32st29fapqmgsppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qgawaehxw309ahx7um5wghxy6t5vdhkjmn9wgh8xmmrd9skctc87ckyu are?

If the payout fails, they'll try again next time they find a block
🔥 1/ Excited to announce: We're donating 2.1M sats to nostr:nprofile1qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0spzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcprdmhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vfwde3x7tnpdenkzmnf9e3k75xqss4 and are bringing 21 Alby Hubs to our local communities! This is how we're empowering Bitcoin adoption across German-speaking regions 🧵

2/ Since we started as a humble podcast in 2019, we've grown into a decentralized network of 243 Bitcoin meetups. Our community keeps building, learning, and stacking together! 🎙️🤝

3/ Through our association, we're committed to preparing German-speaking regions for hyperbitcoinization. Events, YouTube content, magazines, merch - we're building the complete toolset for Bitcoiners 🚀

4/ Why AlbyHub? Because it's everything our local communities need: A self-custodial Lightning node that anyone can use. Simple interface, powerful features, and ready for developers ⚡️
5/ What excites us most: Alby Hub lets our meetup organizers create sub-wallets for their communities. This means easier onboarding and better connection between local Bitcoiners! 👥
6/ Our vision: Every EINUNDZWANZIG meetup becomes a hub for Bitcoin adoption. With Alby Hub running on Alby Cloud, we'll have 24/7 reliable nodes ready for the circular Bitcoin economy 🌍
7/ This isn't just about 21 new nodes - it's about empowering our communities. Each Hub will help local meetups build stronger connections and bring more people into the Bitcoin ecosystem 💪
8/ Supporting open-source projects like nostr:nprofile1qqsyv47lazt9h6ycp2fsw270khje5egjgsrdkrupjg27u796g7f5k0spzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcprdmhxue69uhkummnw3ez6vfwde3x7tnpdenkzmnf9e3k75xqss4 aligns perfectly with our mission. Together, we're making Bitcoin more accessible to everyone in the German-speaking world! 🎯
9/9 From podcast to community, from meetups to nodes - we keep building. Join us at one of our local meetups and be part of the journey! ⚡️

Keep it up 👍
Sure.
- Short lived tokens
- ban auth attempts from the same token from different IP
Why would the mint allow that/issue such an access token??
It would bypass their very own security rule, in that only users who signed up for their mint should be able to use that mint.
All these people with passwords and secret keys in their ENV gonna get rekt
Couple of questions on xpay nostr:nprofile1qqs0zuj4s6jq9sr2ajqc69rc53d25rwpd3afcjrfm97r2qek69hcuscpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmp0qy2hwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytn00p68ytnyv4mz7qgawaehxw309aex2mrp0yhx6at5d9h8jampd3kx2apwvdhk6tcgjgr05:
1. Does it still use multipath payments? Iirc pay split at 10k sats; i don't think I ever saw xpay to split
2. Can we get any decent descriptions on how layers work, and how to effectively utilize them?
🙏
Yes, it's super reliable
Ok, seems you can borrow as individual too.
Lender had to be institutional though.
Fiat loans against BTC collateral (eg nostr:npub19yfzme2usrukjgwxs3eekfnj5xhnarygpqjr2m48agsvvgz32ggqhymc68)
Debifi is for companies, not individuals.
Firefish.io can be used for individuals.
And mulling in your little bubble blaming the world for its injustice does not
Yeah that's the thing; there's not a single merchant assorting e-cash. All the e-cash wallet users do is pay via Lightning anyway (or rather: instruct the mint operator to pay via ln for them)
It's the law that requires them; the network plays no part.
It would just offer them some protection against being found out and prosecuted. But it's easy for LE to find out the real ppl - of they want (like just storming the next public e-Cash hackday 😉)
You assume the case where they'd want to single out a certain user.
It's much more likely they would (have to) apply much more broad/global action - such as enforcing authentication for *all user*. Or suspending Lightning swaps for non authenticated users.
These mints are custodians, and this CASPs (crypto asset service providers)/money transmitters etc under virtually any jurisdiction - who are under these rules required to KYC.
So it's just logical that Marty's asking the state for permission to let them operate. Because by the letter of the law, these mints would not be allowed to operate the way they do now.
If you want to spend your e-cash you make an API call against the mint.
There's tons of ways to censor that (IP address black/whitelisting, require login+auth token etc)
1) only applies to two implementations Cashu and Fedimint ecash. Not to GnuTaler, BitCredit and any other ecash projects
2) that swap is 💯 permissioned by the mint operator. It's not protocol inherent
Right. Hence the begging for the state not to stop it:
