we need a webapp dedicated to changing names and profile picture. you just open it, change your name and picture using nos2x or alby, then you go away. this way clients we save all clients from the hassle of implementing such things.

python never works for me:

my arch linux is never compatible with anything because glibc is always too much updated. for anything to work here it has to be either packaged with the latest glibc or with musl and no shared dependencies.
how did you manage to turn a python app into a self-container executable?
step one: write the code
step two: delete the code and write it again
step three: write more code
interesting, what is the meaning of the name?
this was a very important comment about the problems of mastodon, if true: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=33747582
IPFS exists for almost a decade now, or over a decade
not packaged at all, just a downloadable Linux binary
look at these morons thinking they are going to fix social networking with a new stupid p2p protocol
these apps "on top of IPFS" are very weird to me. they all somehow assume IPFS works flawlessly and as advertised in 2013. and then they claim to be building a lot of things. in fact what they're doing is just calling IPFS methods in a very naïve way that does nothing different than someone (me) calling IPFS methods on the command like wouldn't have already attempted.
look at this crap
we don't know how it works but we all imagine it's the same as tor
was this the first time a stolen bag was recovered in history?
