I spent the entirety of november using just nostr and almost the entire december using just twitter. I can tell you that the twitter UX is seriously broken in many aspects and nostr is just more pleasant.
it is missing some features of the previous version and some other features that would be good to have, but it is also much snappier. I had forgotten how good it was.
is there any nostr.tld domain still available? would be nice to have one for a documentation page for newcomer developers, but I won't pay more than $10 for it.

I agree there is that risk. for nostr to work there must be at least a handful of these server-side blazingly fast "clients" so they will not lose the motivation to stay compatible. and while they try to remain compatible with the other server-clients normal people can still run their local standalone clients.

actually it is probably better to just talk about nostr on nostr for now, since we must be able to bring in other people that are not bitcoin enthusiasts and if we're just talking about bitcoin they won't feel good
