Damus people seem to like the global feed, but they are not brave enough to visit the Minds.com relay global feed.
A global feed may work for very private relays with few people. Relays from closed communities, niche topics, family or friends, or local stuff like a neighborhood relay. I am hoping that these things will exist.

To require Markdown is a giant bloat imposed on everybody. And if a client doesn't support it the plaintext fallback is horrible and unusable (contrary to Markdown's own claims).
