Way I see it is your Nostr profile + badge can serve as substitutes to an account login. Never need to remember an access email or password ever again with any Nostr client that chooses to offer restricted access, just add the badge you need & use your Nos2x or Alby browser extension to sign in.

I think I've sorted out my login woes with nostrgram. Was looking at what was happening on login and realized that often there is _no event at all_ occurring after I click OK to login with nos2x extension.

On a hunch, decided to give the getalby extension a try. Many more steps to configure and the extension support for nostr won't work unless you setup an alby account, but it's more fluid for the login process.

So seems there is a bug or something in nos2x.

And we obviously need more browser extensions supporting nostr logins without requiring accounts on centralized servers

What best for lists? Is there a guide anywhere. Am android & web only.

The statement "Don’t paste your private key on web pages" is not less true because I don’t mention mobile applications.

I’ve actually told mobile client devs to consider implementing something like a remote signer.

I trust #[3]​ and it’s not about ruffling feathers.

Why do we need decentralized social communication? #[0] wanted to know why Nostr was better than other supposed "free speech" social networks like Gab or Truth Social. Here's why:
