#nostrasia in 2 weeks! Can't wait to meet you all friendly psychos

I've have been in Japan for over 3 weeks now. Some quick tips from me to yall:

- Japan is much cheaper than they say, way cheaper than western Europe or US. Lunch prices can start from $3.50 and typical capsule hotel night cost about $20-30 (they are usually very clean and have good amenities, sometimes baths/spa, etc)

- Japan is very much cash country. Credit cards are used in markets and a lot of places, but often they don't accept contactless payments

- Tokyo's metro and Japan's train system in general is massive, but actually quite easy to navigate, especially if you use Google maps. The only thing you have to look at are line names/colors and platforms, both shown in Google maps. It's good to buy IC card for convenient metro (and trains) usage - If you have iPhone you can create it straight in your Apple wallet (I hope FOSS stuff can provide similar UX some day...)

- Public toilets are everywhere in Japan - every tourist attraction, museum, temple, train station, metro station, etc. They are always free and clean.

- Famous japanese toilets are pretty neat. Buttons to flush it are usually on a on wall or side of the toilet

- Beers, even lagers are pretty good better, imho better than most eurolsgers. There's also craft scene and a lot of good speciality coffe places

- Sushi in convenience stores and supermarkets is really good for the price and cheap - similar level to western sushi restaurants I'd say

- When you're handing something to others or receiving something from someone - do it using both hands to hold the thing.

- There's very little trash bins on the street. Usually you can find bins for cans and plastic bottles around vending machines, but for everything else you will most likely need to carry your trash to the hotel you're staying. So always have some plastic bag with you to put your trash in there. You can often find general bins inside convenience stores though.

See you soon <3

My trick was to sing/speak slowly and interject a simulation of yawning while trying to continue :-D

GM! DD! PV! Welcome my daughter nostr:npub1thu2hrs89v8vp87lan88vz8q8nlcey6vfdss4wjjdx9gljk6scxsxkltm7 to Nostr!

She's still coming up with a nickname, so until then, enjoy a morning meme courtesy of hers

1. Game accreditations for achievements. Quest completions. High scores forever.

2. But life is a game too!

Suppose I create a Quest NIP and publish a real life task. Someone takes up the task and completes it, gets zapped, and a badge awarded.

Happy to see you say that. You were real gloomy on the live stream yesterday.

Here goes crazy... Many different strands:

- I've heard podcasts where folks expect a crisis this fall

- Then I saw you making a poll with events in 2023

- Then I heard those funny guys at Inspired talking about a man-made 9/11x nuclear, north hemisphere event, preceded by a cyber attack and followed by a scare and push for 15-minute cities

- Then I saw the Future Forecasting Group (probably scammers) saying cryptic messages - supposedly a group of remote viewers. (I know I know...)

- The I saw the Ukraine/Covid Psyop pivot to Israel and war thirsty blue checks go mad

- Then my wife recalled the prophecies of father Klimuszko which go like this: migrants in ships -> war starts after "rockets cross in the sky" fake peace -> "beast wakes from the oceans" -> tsunami in europe, deaths, faith-based wars, etc..

I know this is all crazy, but this is what I am looking for in this post - exploring crazy things.

Note: I am not pessimistic, I am optimistic, just looking at factoids.

Anybody got more?

Dzięki za głos!

Przedszkola w Polsce jeszcze były ok. Do plandemii, ale szkoła to już opary absurdu, biedy i niemocy. I w efekcie krzywdy.

Nie wiem jeszcze co mogę zrobić i jak. Dobija mnie obowiązek aparatu i instytucji, oraz to, że najwspanialsze materiały są po angielsku. Dzieci mają zatem dodatkową rzecz do opanowania.

No i braki mojego własnego czasu by cokolwiek postrategizować :-( Aarrgghhh

I watched Daniel Prince about #unschooling on Free Cities podcast in 2 installments.

I am aching inside for my kids being subjected to the school prison system, so well articulated by Daniel.

But I am struggling to see how I can do it.

Just wanted to say that. Maybe it resonates with other poles with kids.
