Henry Story has been working on Decentralised social Networks since 2004 when he took up foaf, contributing to the Atom Syntax syndication format, WebID Authentication, Linked Data Protocol, Social Linked Data Platform (Solid), and more... He read philosophy and earns a living programming in #Scala

btw. this can definitely be improved with #RDF, but the momentum they are building because of simplicity is impressive. Mind you the simplicity is very quickly getting out of hand with huge amount of NIPS... But NIPS like RDF vocabs get naturally selected.

Ah, to get #Primal working in the browser, and indeed for any #nostr browser app, the most important thing to get going is to install a #NIP07 plugin. #nostrclient

That way you reduce the risk of your private key being leaked by the JS. I am not yet sure which is the best plugin.

As you are doing reviews of social networks, I think you'll find nostr interesting. It seems to be still early days. It does not have the problem Mastodon has that I described in response there to your post. Perhaps one role it can play for #Mastodon is as a place where topics can be discussed that admins on the local instance of the elephant don't want to be discussed.
