Matt Mullenweg, the founder and CEO of WordPress (biz) and director of the .org declared open war on WPEngine, the largest host. Back-and-forth lawsuits, bickering on Twitter, Matt acting like an entitled whiny billionaire, and, most recently, he revoked their access to their largest plugin in the directory, forked it, renamed it, and claimed it as his.
I’m not sure if Nostr is aware of what’s going on in the #WordPress community right now, but it’s headed toward a civil war and has effects that are rippling through the entire open source internet.
If someone is capable of developing a decentralized plugin repository built on Nostr, you’d have a million developers turning their heads to look this way. This is a much larger opportunity for nostr to attract talent than any possible exodus from Twitter.
BEHOLD, SATOSHI’S ONE COMMANDMENT

My mom, dad, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law were all at the hospital when my oldest, the first of his generation, was born. 😂
nostr:npub18jgxqshg38cgzcv43zvqhnc7hjn223psy2kkmkpqt2azd9thyy4sxjc5gt oh my gosh, one more, because the show is just that good! => the hospital scene.
“Hows she doing?”
“There’s no way to know.”
Minor injury, whole family is at the hospital. 😂
Yeah, he was fantastic on Veep.
Seriously, though, they nailed it. Especially the mom. When Joann caught her eating the charcuterie board I was in tears.
There were a few flaws in some Jewish details of the story, but the characters themselves felt so real.
nostr:npub18jgxqshg38cgzcv43zvqhnc7hjn223psy2kkmkpqt2azd9thyy4sxjc5gt watched the entire season. Donno who is my favorite! The mom, Sasha’s wife, Joanne’s sister, it’s all so great! Who’s your favorite?
Sasha was amazing – I think he might have been my favorite. Almost died when he took too many edibles then had to help his daughter. That said, I know a bunch of the sister-in-law and mom types IRL and those two nailed it.
Just finished it tonight. It’s SO good. The Jewish humor is on-point — had me in tears laughing several times.

I’ve never felt older than when you were asking David about movies like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and he hadn’t even heard of them.
Yeah, he definitely looked like he was in on the joke.
*crickets*
Agreed. The conclusion was wrong, but the information and perspective was great.
I long for a live-action Batman Beyond series. nostr:note1l7dx6kc7xp678sc7wz6dvnc5269qq9zs6xmd6rfkryptae048h0q9mmkwu
