I get excited because this community gets it. While others get deplatformed and get their azz checked we got sats, cookies, arts, devs and stories. And badges to show off.

Im not disputing what your saying. It really depends on the user. I could publish my articles on medium, substack, or whatever. But for me owning my content is more important so I value nostr for this reason.
Lets say tiktok ban does follow through. Then we have ID checks on X, and blueskye following suit. You still think nostr will not inherite some of these users?
Just give it time! Nost is still new, give another year or two. I think the marketplace will be different by then. Have faith, fren

The nostr marketplace does need work. Maybe categorize items may help? Also, I feel alot of bitcoiners may not want to buy items for SATS. Hard to justify this, so I can't say.
