In fact, it works so well on truthtellers and so poorly on liars, that a good percentage will doubt the one who is transparent about it while holding the charismatic deceivers, who would never admit the existence or awareness of such tactics, up as a standard of expert against whom to compare the altruistic former. The immoral agent's premeditated performative displays of constructed bioconfidence signals that unmeritoriously and baselessly presume heirarchical advantage as if by birthright seem to operate on the unconscious more effectively than the truthteller's attempts. This is thought locally to be a result of a temporary hypnotic societal condition, as mere awareness of these dynamics renders the incomplete individual as merely immature and dishonest and best redeemed elsewhere, rather than the oracle his machinations project.
