I loved Steam Greenlight when it was live.
Was supper sad when it went away.
Always had plans to remake it in a previous project I had, but things didn't work out with it (not yet anyway).
But perhaps that was a good thing that it didn't work out, because now I'm thinking it can now be made on top of #nostr .
Hopefully I'll remember and get around to designing & developing it in the future.
#gaming
Pretty much, and i loved what gab did, unfortunately there was still censorship there, and this is basically the evolved version of it because its on nostr =3
Understandable.
I've been thinking about to get rid of branching commits for a different project, came up with this (not functional): https://freakoverse.github.io/WeBlog/post.html
idea:
Each comment has a 'depth' level, so you know where you are in a reply branch and can go back with the arrow.

Hm.. there's no reply button on your comment (sending this from a different client)

Got another idea in regards to how clients and their relays can monetize themselves, an addition to their subscription (think what can Damus Purple can add more):
You know how Twitter sometimes sends you an email containing a few tweets from those you follow or from accounts that post on hashtags you're interested in, ones where the system might think you'd be interested in based on various criteria (like impressions or likes, etc)?
Then why not have a program run on a client's relay to deliver a similar experience (via dm, or via a new nip to separate normal DMs from 'email' DMs).
#nostr
You're right, but depending on who you're talking to, its:
1. A place to communicate freely, regardless of the number of people.
2. They truly believe in its potential, and are being active on it (and some producing content on it) in preparation for those that'll come and be the source of content that they seek (which makes them have the opportunity of a first-mover winner).
And probably some other points.
With that said, people of point 1 and 2 (and other points) will stick with nostr and gather people to it, and will stay because the influencer is here, and a chain reaction will come from it.
I understand that this might be a controversial opinion, but I believe that new developers should not contribute to established open source projects. It only makes the lives of open source project managers more difficult.
If a developer cannot understand the basics of full code base, they should not contribute. This practice is essentially turning into spam and is akin to a DDoS attack on the open source community.
Many open source projects are considering going closed source due to this exact reason. People with little to no coding knowledge are literally practicing on main ExpressJS repo. What a nightmare for these project managers.

This seems like... a very easy problem to fix, assuming you can change up how github work, which I'm assuming you can't and that's the issue, so here's hoping for the nostr git to get the love it needs =3
with the user's password right? cool.
if someone wants to 'export' their private keys, or transfer them to another custodian, i'm assuming that's possible, right? (how's the security process for that like?).
?
I send a message, it gets sent, it gets read.
Not sure what's happening with u =P
I got a few silver coins.
Why? For entertainment purposes.
(think yoyo or fidget spinner or any other thing to play with).
I would've also liked to get a few gold coins, because they have better 'cling/ting' sound. Didn't because shit's expensive if its for entertainment.
This is definitely an unga-bunga me like ore kind of thing x3
I also like the thing that has that background image.
Also, all three? dang, nice!
not sure if it has what you're looking for, but I bought from this site in the past a few times: https://www.pcgamesupply.com/
This is good.

lol US and UK are now legally designated official terrorist states x3
