To be honest I wouldn’t accept spare change from people for a post. The whole deal is weird to me. People rarely “add value” with communication. Mostly it’s pollution to be fair. I’d be more inclined to pay people to stop posting.

I’d run a few on my nodes but there doesn’t seem to be much point. It’s really just a small group of dudes jerking each other off with zaps.

Just checking in. Same circle jerking echo chamber. Back to twitter.

I’m just as optimistic as the next person about the possibilities. I’m just waiting on the practicality.

Bitcoin is money for enemies, meaning anyone can use it.

Twitter is social media anyone can easily access without help.

When will #nostr be decentralized and enemies friendly in terms of UX?

When will you just be able to use it without the help of a clique or a coding degree?

Right now things feel extremely centralized in the sense of who uses it and the degree of success therein.

I will never pay for another person’s thoughts in the form of a social media post or meme. These things are not valuable to me in the traditional sense of value. This is a generational shift I’m not participating in. Like giving people tips for fucking takeout lol.

I’m sure it’s me and the fact that I have not shared my nostr key publicly but I find myself returning to twitter for continuous reading/learning material. Here it’s like 6 guys talking to each other in a comment section of a thread. I’m still happy to be here and I’m sure things will improve.

So far tbh this ux sucks ass.

Syncing a node seems to have gotten exponentially slower. I’m not sure of any correlation to the new change with inscriptions?

Didn’t get my plus + button to make a post for hours after I set up my account? Things are getting better now. Pretty cool. #nostr

Running nostr.
