I'm not sure if raspberry pi is a good idea at the moment :/

They are really expensive for the past months!

I had mine for a long time, but if had to buy something, I think I'd look for an used PC/Notebook. It'll end up cheaper

3GB

I'm running on a Raspberry Pi that has 4GB in total. 3GB for the bitcoin node, and 1GB for the Pi-hole seems to work fine!

That's true! I suppose that more transactions inside a block make the sync process slower

More than two weeks rsrsrs

It gets way slower after ~25% for me.

One thing that helped a little bit was to reserve more memory for the node. But still takes a long time :/

ALMOST THERE

Let's hope I don't screw up for the third time

Not that I know.

The idea is some kind of reverse proxy that receives http messages and pass it on to the relays?

Slightly off-topic:

There are a set of functions that I need to copy/paste every time I start a new #clojure project related to Nostr.

I decided to create some libs to make my life easier.

The one I'm working on is this one: https://github.com/Marcelo-Theodoro/clj-secp256k1

It's pretty simple, but it'll be a building block for the next one!

Yes for 🇧🇷

There are private companies doing a better job for years

Carnival next week.

The good part is three days off of work.

The bad part is loud music all around the city.

You can select one post and select “Broadcast” in Damus. So your Umbrel will get it.

A lot of work but works

UFO vs. UAP.

Which one you prefer?

Patrimônio nacional! hahaha

There are some people working in a clojure desktop client focused on relay centric activities. The project is called Monstr.

Paranaense morando em São Paulo 😬

Gambiarra:

It is used in the context of solving a problem in the most creative way possible in order to save resources.

I constantly see people from other countries being amazed by our gambiarras in the work environment 😛

Do again using loop and recur for better performance

They can block, and worse. They have the power to make ddos attacks to shutdown all the relay’s. Not that I think they’ll do it.

Yep, me too! I'm having some bug when loading messages in threads. But overall, it's been great!
