The Australian government has introduced a bill that will require anyone who wants to use social media to be forced in to ID verification. What if I want to have an anonymous account? I'm so thankful I found #nostr... How do we help this place grow faster??

When was the last time you got up early to sit and watch the sunrise? It's worth it, I promise!

This was earlier in the year in May, strongest event we've had down south in 30 years. Absolutely incredible experience, you could see full colour with the naked eye dancing around everywhere. At one point it looked like dawn was breaking with how bright it was 😍

GM #nostr. As #bitcoin continues to moon to where we all know it should, take the time to appreciate the hidden beauty of our world. If you get the chance, it's well worth some late nights to chase either the northern or southern lights. One of the most amazing things I get to see, and I hope my photos of it do it justice! Like what you see? Please drop in and say 👋 would love to hear from you 🙂

G'day Tarik. Great interview, I really enjoyed it. I'm an Anaesthetist (and photographer) from Victoria and was wondering about that bitcoin drs group on Facebook you mentioned. Would you be able to pass on the name please?

I think it's the detail one would normally skip over that we as photographers have the ability to draw the eye to. Whether that be with zoom, use of lines/patterns, use of light or use of angles. Here's a mundane field of hay bales that I thought looked very interesting from a different perspective. The monotone helps to remove distractions to allow the viewer to appreciate the undulating fields and patterns created

I'll go in reverse order;

- nostr isn't like an app that's controlled by a company. It's a protocol and anyone can build on it. So it's impossible to ban, it'd be at best a game of whack a mole

- agree, not yet the same volume. But things can grow very fast in this digital age.

- banks can block access yet people are still finding ways. At the moment, not all banks have blocked access, credit unions allow access and some companies have ways that allow you to transfer without banks knowing what the transfer is for. There's also local or p2p ways to transact

- as for the ATO, if you have a bitcoin economy things may change but for now there are still plenty of options (eg/ you can get tax free loans out against your btc if you want to "cash" some out)
