Just did a rough figuring in my head. That means that a dollar of gold back then has increased in purchasing power by 4 times. That makes sense since it doubles roughly every half century, I believe. Bitcoin, once it is stable and accepted nearly everywhere, will start growing in purchasing power at a similar rate, tracking the total productive capacity of the economy.

Nice. I'm stacking gold, silver and bitcoin myself.

It's incredible to me that anyone can blindly assume that "oh because you appear to be in X group due to W symptoms that are common among people in X group, you gotta do the usual Y thing that X group does to cope, because that's the obvious route to betterment, and anyone who does not immediately agree with this obvious opinion must be silenced and distrusted with extreme prejudice."

Pure fucking insanity. It's amazing how LITTLE people think.

being decentralized, nostr is really the only source you can trust to not be systematically distorting information beyond whatever people systematically do as a population.

You'll be fine, don't worry. gubment going broke will benefit all of us, even the ones currently stuck on its benefits. It'll free up productivity, jobs, opportunities, mutual aid, and best of all better forms of money and property ownership.

I should start telling people that. Been trying to come up with witty ways of getting people to see that government doesn't solve anything. "I get more of a vote with my money than I ever did with a ballot" would be a good one.

"Economists." More like Keynesian state puppets, licensed propagandites. I'm already better qualified than 50% of economists out there from a mere 20 months of autodidactical study.

Yeah there's already a price on carbon. How about legalizing fucking nuclear? Huh?? Always knew Ursula was no good, ever since The Little Mermaid.

#gonuclear

I thought everyone using Apple knew they were paying a premium for absolutely every monetary transaction. It's clearly advertized, isn't it? Or is it hidden away and inscrutable just like the application management settings or the back button? I hate Apple with a passion lol!
