I mean I know this happens all the time, but it's still interesting to see

Women have been gaslit by the central bank backed, DNC-invested faction of the fiat machine. This last election was not a loss for women. It was just another small win for Bitcoin in a series of wins. Arguably it was a win for women because people need to realize they are responsible for their own freedom.

Ayyy counter-economist here 🤙🧡

I've read enough of Konkin to be annoying when correcting people about what the black market is, and how my DnD alignment is "Chaotic Entrepreneur."

I wouldn't trust it unless I skimmed through the code myself or consulted some trustworthy code experts of some kind about it, or it had a lot of battle testing and opportunity to be exposed as fraudulent or unsafe and hadn't yet.

You want to have something with a lot of critical eyes on it or with your critical eyes on it, before you put a private key in it. Exclusive use of dedicated signing software like the Alby extension makes nostr much safer. It's like the separation of entropy offered by hardware wallets in the bitcoin world, just applied through separate software applications. This protects your secret keys.

> I don't know about you, but if I'm a Canadian and I'm looking at Bitcoin climb the charts, what is the real fake money here? in my opinion it's the Canadian Moose Knuckles - you know like, the Moose Shekels - here. Bitcoin is the real money. It's climbing in the asset charts, it's climbing in the currency charts, it's gonna put Canada's dollar in the dust...

Optimist Fields

That's not a monopoly. That's just an entrepreneur taking 100% market share. The two are not the same, unless that's what you define as a monopoly, your own definition. It's economics.

I totally agree. But Monero is still facing issues with scalability-decentralization and adoption, so people just say well forget it, let's focus on what works great as an all-arounder and is definitely going to last. It's a case of the right tool for the job, and Bitcoin is a tool that can do all jobs, but Monero is also useful for certain jobs, arguably moreso than Bitcoin at this stage in the game, for those specific jobs. I would prefer to just say Monero is good, Bitcoin is better, and there are some additional tradeoffs that are seriously worth looking at and that both projects could use tweaking on.

Happy Black Market Friday, everyone! I myself will be sticking to the Grey and White markets because I'm a pussy, but hey that's something! Love the Market. Non-KYC that corn!

Cypherpunks are the real punks. These guys are playing pretend. What happened to anti-establishment? People fool themselves so easily.
