This has been the case for decades.
Of course this is just one of the ways in which your time and energy are captured and channeled into a genocide.
To be sure, the labor fruit of the average American is harvested through taxes and inflation towards the same end.

This is how culture is manufactured in America…from intellectuals, to academics to public intellectuals to movie stars.
Netflix is currently being boycotted because they removed the entire Palestinian movie library.
My point is that post WWII culture creators have largely been hand picked by a centralized group of ideologically vested information brokers, which squelches a wealth of organic, enriching culture produced by a Gentile majority of Americans who have different values than a 2% minority in Organized Jewry.
For this reason The Commons is increasingly quite uncommon, in fact.

Second and third layer analysis, and not wrong.
If one’s willing to follow the money back to the beginning of Western civilization, then it makes sense to inquire into those who are sufficiently responsible for the manipulation of the money - the fountainhead of the violent permutations.
For it is those people, a decentralized ethnic network, who can be traced back through the ages - those who sit at the base layer of jingoistic social hierarchies, those who have corrupted the money, turning it to fiat- who are causally responsible for the large scale altercations that imperil humanity today…even if Homo sapiens are disposed to such violence.
Bitcoin will fix the incentives, but not necessarily the actions of furtive, fiat marauders, in a timely fashion. Definitely not in time for your somber list of international casualties.
No doubt I value the safety of my family and fellow Americans. Having said that, it seems woefully unfair that the United States government can visit so much destruction - transgressions that have gone on now for over a century - on foreign territories without reprisals to the American Homeland.
As a believer in the inevitable mean reversion, I fear that we are approaching a reckoning that goes beyond the looting of American wealth.
Divestment from the war machine is more than a symbolic gesture, but unlikely to be a sufficient condition that will allow for peaceful change.
#Bitcoin likely fixes this through acceleration, not a step back from the brink.
I hope to be proven wrong.
I buy hard copies of older books, just on the off chance that I might want to read them in the future.
Many of the books added to my library, especially over the last five years or so, are now banned or hard to come by.
I don’t expect that trend will change in the short to medium term.
Hard printed ideas are the current parabolic market.
What we do here is spin low-time preference narrative arcs that will stand for generations.

Looking back at my investing track record. I'm a below average investor.
I suck at timing.
I suck at position sizing.
I suck at handling emotions.
The only thing that's worked for me is making fewer decisions. My most profitable decisions have been boring and obvious ones that I stuck to for years.
Eg: DCA into the sp500 for a decade.
Staying humble and stacking sats(via DCA) feels like the right decision for me and other before average investors.
