There are people who have real ptsd who need trigger warnings and then there are people who need trigger warnings over cigarettes because they self diagnosed themselves with ptsd. Not the same thing.
People with real diagnosed ptsd are in no way pathetic for needing warnings. People who pretend to have ptsd in order to virtue signal just diminish those who have a legit diagnosis.
That’s okay most of his voter base is not straight and smokes crack too.
Because seeing someone fake smoking in a movie might trigger some ptsd episode about smoking? Then they will have to go outside and get some air (where they will likely see someone smoking) or they might have to watching something else where there might be smoking. Oh no I found a smoking emoji 🚬 and my phone didn’t trigger warn me first.
People who need trigger warnings are pathetic.

They only want to threaten to ban it because they want to censor and control it more like they do with all other big tech companies. Prob hard for them to convince the Chinese government to hire Feds to do “content moderation” and install backdoors. The twitter files is evidence to how infiltrated the us intelligence apparatus wants to be in any centralized social media platform.
Also, in a failing economy how many jobs would be eliminated if they banned an app like TikTok? I don’t mean just for the people who work there but all the people who make a living posting content on there. It’s not like wiping out some random thing, people make a living on there now.
Decentralized is the only way to go in the future, censorship resistant platforms like Nostr is the only way to communicate globally without oligarchs trying to control the message.
