I can totally relate, and I am pretty sure it's more common that we think.. what piss me off are the complainings about prices raising everywhere, quality and quantity shrinking and all the rest just for ranting without wanting to understand why the things became like this.

i don't really know how to treat it differently. pushing myself to keep a job comes no easier to me than pushing yourself to keep a hobby.

i mean, who does that? you just stop doing hobbies when you don't feel motivated for them anymore.

I'll also add that a separate enclosure like I built is completely unnecessary unless like me, you plan on putting it in the bedroom you share with your wife. You can get a single 480mm radiator and direct mount it via the existing s19 120mm fan mounting holes and be good to go. For packaging reasons I've gone with two radiators and made it as complicated as possible.

Major upgrade on the bitcoin space heater. I've replaced the three aircooled single board #S9 miners with a single board water cooled #S19 that runs cool and quiet while pumping out the heat. Used two Alphacool ES 280mm radiators, four Noctua NF14 1500rpm fans, three noctua 60x25mm fans, and an Alphacool

Eisstation pump and resevior combo. This setup keeps the hashboard under 60c up to 850 watts.

I just received a marketing message through Wallet of Satoshi because my #Bitcoin #lightning address is displayed on my #Nostr profile. I saw a notification that I had received a #zap, so I checked it out. What was it? It was an unsolicited marketing message that someone paid 5 #sats to send me by putting an ad in the payment description. Nostr users should be prepared to start receiving ZPAM (Zap spam) messages if they have a lightning address listed publicly. I added mine though Damus when I first downloaded the app and have received valid sats in response to some of my posts, but I am not looking forward to an onslaught of “junk mail” via Nostr and Lightning. The idea of getting paid directly for every ad I have to look at sounds nice at first, but the very low barrier to entry makes me worried that once the floodgates open, nothing will be able to hold back the great deluge of ads.
