Don’t know what client you’re using, but on Damus if you tap the zap icon and hold it, it allows you to change the zap amount for that zap

Thinking damus should show a #zap “charge level” which is your remaining balance in zaps with some target amount, perhaps your all-time high? This would give you a good idea if you’re zapping too much and when you should chill.

You can always customize the amount by tapping on 'My QR' hence no need for settings changes each time and live life on the Zappy lane just how we bots do!.
