ohey! Thanks for the reminder; i saw your announcement but then it was piled by all the xmas madness! Nostria.app looks fantastic! Thank YOU, for thinking of us musicians when you buidl!!!!! :aliendance:

Around this time, a little less than 20 years ago, i found myself alone in a room without furniture, a a midi-keyboard hooked to an old reason, a TB-303 with no din-21 sync available and the microphone of my laptop. I was thoroughly burned out and feeling pretty disoriented by own life-choices. So i channeled all that into this pretty weird but smokey banger.

About 2 years later it made on to a transparent vinyl that was produced in 10 copies.

All hand-made; from the late-cutting to the cover art (spray and stencil) It's probably the record i earned the most from as my people got their copies for about $100 each. I split 50/50 with the label, ArtefxBCN, the brainchild of the mythical DJ Ref (AKA Jacques The Cutter). I had almost forgotten this record, but was reminded by the sweet wished he sent me on xmas.

Hope you enjoy it!

It would be kind of stupid to think it is possible to make it as a 45+ musicians in the field of music. Obviously, younger beings have a brighter view of the vibes that traverse us humans: The more musicians adhere to the principles of circular\gift\v4v economy, the less chances that noise can transform into signal.

But this struggle, for one, is not about personal growth. It's about the futute of storytelling, and how it benefits the human race in its race towards equilibrium.

From the website:

The data will be released in different stages on our Torrents page:

[X] Metadata (Dec 2025)

[ ] Music files (releasing in order of popularity)

[ ] Additional file metadata (torrent paths and checksums)

[ ] Album art

[ ] .zstdpatch files (to reconstruct original files before we added embedded metadata)

The real headline would be: "Good Samaritans working for the safeguard of culture have created a backup of the giant library initially hoarded via Piratebay by Spotyface. Equipped with bots, they extracted the audio and metadata from the cache created by Spotyface on their local machines, and thus assuring perrennity for the hard labour of millions of Musicians"

"Spotify was HaCKEd by PIRATE ACTIVISTS! They even stole meTAdAta. 300TB is noW avaIlABle to ANyOne tO dowNloAD. Dani Bwoy saID tHEy haVE iDenTiFIEd aNd terMInAtED thE InfRINgiNG acCounts, wHO werE usING iLLEgal TooLs"

Hilarious how swedish media is framing the spotyface backup! Journalists have 0 clue how the information highway works. I guess all the #pirateAcitivsts are going to go to the grocery store to buy a 300tb harddrive for xmas now!

Good morning! In my dream an old cat told me: "you still don't know how to programagically obsolete greed, but you're great at automating it!"

There's more to it, but the main difference from, say fediverse upload, is that the file hash becomes the file name. So a client can query the server indicated in the note for the file, but if it is not there, it can look for the same file on any other blossom server it knows of. Typically, the access control is different from the things you are used to. I.e. your haven relay on relay.inpc.cat will not accept files from anyone else than you, and that's why you have to sign an event for the blossom to accept the file.
