I just tried doing that with alby today, before they shut down their custodial wallet. I was able to move all but 15 sats off of it. I think each wallet has their own rules for that, but when i tried moving the last few sats it said the amt did not meet minimum amt, so i gave up. Never messed with wos much though. You might try moving smaller amts at a time. Today with alby i tried moving the balance all at once, but didnt work (a few thousand sats). Then i tried moving smaller amts, which worked till it got down to 15 sats. Thats all i know about it.

Alby app doesn't work.

I think I'll need to just zap myself

Hey nostr, just got back from helping to fill christmas boxes for needy kids. Our church does this every year, and i decided to help out today. Hi. Quick question. Do you know how to empty a wallet that has just a few sats left in it? I have a WoS that I never use but it has a few sats left that it won't let me send. I though you might know since you had a similar situation a while back.

Yup. Amethyst is about the only one that will do that well, but you can also just create a new "account" right in amethyst. I do it for checking odds and ends, then nuke the nsec. Super easy.

Well, it allows you to sign up. If you already have an account it won't let you. At least I thats been my experience. I was trying to get a new npub on Primal and couldn't do it.

Any client should be able to handle that. Not all clients support multiple "accounts," though.

Yeah, was surprised when I went outside this morning.

Good morning nostr, we woke up to a nice 61 F today, so it should be a gorgeous day. We were supposed to get a little storm with rain last nite, but we got nothing, oh well.

This morning i'm gathering up some kitchen stuff and some clothes to donate to the resale shop. That place gets unbelievably busy on sale days, especially for a small town. I think we get lots of out-of-towners come to shop, since the prices are so reasonable. I've also been hearing that our local food pantry cant keep up with the number of folks that they get. Signs of the times i guess.
