Dude this is so true. There’s this trend of really ugly haircuts within highly liberal communities. It seems like they’re trying to make themselves as ugly as they can while still being able to get laid. Idk man it’s weird

I see this so many times and it never fails to make me laugh

It said moo when I put my fork in it 🤷🏽‍♂️

Bitcoin will bring about a new renaissance, I have faith. And we will be a part of it!

I took an online course explaining how to set up your recording space, what types of microphones to look into, and which software to use. I took the actionable steps presented during the initial COVID era and grinded (ground?) away!

With audiobooks, you make a free producer account on ACX and audition for projects. Super simple. It doesn’t pay much early on but it’s fun and pushes you creatively. I work entirely on indie projects so it’s not always the best writing, but I’ve been lucky with a few steady clients, (who are good), keeping me busy.

I’m reaching for something more immersive though. Like those old time radio shows with the music and sound fx combined with some visuals. I’ll likely try AI filmmaking since I don’t have much skill with digital art. We’ll see. Writing a good script is tough!

I love the music. It’s basically saying, “I’m following the rules in this dystopian utopia and I’m happy, see?!”

I love that! If I could replace my massage career with something like that’d be perfect. Well, when bitcoin appreciates we’ll have the purchasing power to finally own land and a home. So we’ll get there! Hunker down, do/learn what you can, and keep stacking.

There’s been an obvious lack of interesting content outside of Bitcoin and Nostr here on Nostr. I’d like to fill that void with some sorta audio/visual storytelling. Horror, sex and graphic violence gets censored and demonetized on the legacy platforms so I figured there’s a market here for raw, gritty storytelling that doesn’t hold itself back because of profits.

Our art nowadays is so bland and condescending because of fiat debasement. Movies either try to please everyone and end up pleasing no one ie. Marvel, remakes, soft-reboots, or studios making “safe bets” with market research. Or there’s a lot of politicking, virtue signaling, and condescension in the writing and storytelling rather than just trying to fucking entertain you.

Anyways maybe I can expand my audiobook narrating skills onto these decentralized platforms? We’ll see!

This is something I personally struggle with. What value do I offer? Well, shit, I don’t know. Or rather, I don’t know what I’d enjoy offering to people. What do you think you’d enjoy offering?

Holy shit, guys! I just realized I haven’t check the Bitcoin price in like 2 days! Am… I… leveling up?!

If the Dark Side didn't give immediate results, then nobody would take it. It does have its merits. For years at a time. The Dark Side isn't retarded. Rather, they're rich.

Algorithms work because they base themselves on the weaker aspects of human nature. They get faster numbers while hurting their long-term credibility. The become wealthy but not respected.

If I aimed to build a business for the next 3 years only and cared not for things beyond that, I'd aim for the YouTube algorithm.

But if I aimed to build a business with longer-term aims, I'd be more cautious against clickbait and optimize for personal brand integrity.

Walker has high integrity, so much so that even as he messes with clickbait for experiments, I still know his integrity. His integrity is what led me to happily be on his show, for example. I like him as a person. Ultimately, I do vibes-based appearances. Walker has good vibes, so I joined his show over others that had 10x or 50x the following.

There is some balance between the forces. There's the hybrid approach of marketing clickbait + substantive high-integrity content once they click. Like, "I caught you with my clickbait, now let's talk philosophy!"

But at the end of the day, the more we stretch for audience reach, the worse we likely suffer in terms of audience substance.

And in the long run, it's nice to have a really based audience who understands us. Because we presented ourselves honestly from the start.

“Like, "I caught you with my clickbait, now let's talk philosophy!"” This is Mark Manson in a nutshell lol
