The Kansas Record situation, where police raided the offices and home of a newspaper publisher for doing journalism things pretty obviously protected by the #firstamendment, reminds me a bit of Mink v. Knox, a Colorado case about a decade ago. Prosecutor settled for $425k for approving criminal defamation search warrant targeting a parody newspaper. https://www.denverpost.com/2011/12/12/ex-unc-student-tom-mink-settles-lawsuit-against-weld-county-prosecutor/amp/

Forgot to post #immaculategrid today. After The Count was 2% on the first square I filled in, I decided to go with favorite players and former Rangers in other spots. Except Indians-Giants, where the only guy I could think of (Gaylord Perry) was probably too obvious. Final rarity of 5. I’ll take it.

“Mistakes were made”

The Texas A&M faculty senate wants system chancellor John Sharp to explain how the university keeps letting outside political influences interfere with academic matters. https://www.thebatt.com/news/faculty-senate-invites-sharp-to-senate-meeting-over-outside-influence-concerns/article_72599808-2b32-11ee-8699-a7a36eb2b602.html
