Primal and Amethyst. I use primal primarily (heh), but I like how amethyst has a different way of sorting and showing me posts. I like some things about amethyst better and some things about primal better, but I have less friction zapping posts thanks to primals built in wallet.

I have Phoenix wallet to zap with amethyst, but Phoenix charges me fees of 2 - 4 Satoshis per zap and primal doesn't so I also use primal to save on fees. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

busy learnig how these zaps work... just zapped twice unknowingly... hahaha 😆. anyways its final! really digging this zapping for content you enjoy or find usefull... 😉

Also love that nobody can deplatform me or anyone else! Definitely the future of decentralized internet infrastructure! 👌

As you can see in today’s world freedom is not free. We need to fight for it, and the best way to fight is to seperate money from state.

I love seeing new CPRs (Centralized Platform Refugees) come over to Nostr.

I love the initial enthusiasm as the realization hits that this protocol is radically different from everything they are used to.

I love the nonstop note-posting when they first join.

But…

Sadly, many do not last.

They can’t get the same dopamine fix on Nostr that the centralized platforms deliver so effectively…

They are free, and yet they yearn to return to their cage.

But that’s okay. Everyone is free to do what they want, and Nostr will be here (and better than ever) when they eventually return. And they WILL return.

So, cheers to those of you that continue showing up on Nostr every single day, posting your thoughts, sharing your lives, sharing your art, sharing your music, sharing your podcasts, sharing your memes, sharing your feet, hosting meatspace conferences, and engaging in meaningful conversations with this small but powerful network.

imho, nostriga was the best nostr.world conference so far. and that says a lot, because nostrica and nostrasia were bangers. as i wait at the gate to fly out of riga, wanted to share some thoughts while my impressions are still fresh.

i don’t know the actual numbers, but it felt like this was the biggest nostr event yet. the quality and signal of presentations was excellent. we are leaning into what is working, while at the same time there are still many fresh ideas emerging.

in comparison, i must say that bitcoin events feel a bit stale. you can almost pick any talk/keynote/panel and drop it into any other bitcoin conference over the past few years - and it wouldn’t feel out of place.

nostr has a lot of momentum and i dare to say that we have the winning hand vs. the legacy web. just keep pushing fam. 💜☀️
