Amethyst is an android mobile Nostr client that does a lot of extra stuff that's not part of the Nostr specifications.
For instance, Amethyst supports some markdown formatting. And note editing. And, delete requests.
Most other nostr clients will ignore any markdown formatting, and note edits. And enough relays ignore delete requests which makes that useless as well.
Nah. You really can't delete a post. Even with the 'delete request' nip, there's enough relays on the network that archive every note posted by everyone, which means there will always be a copy of everything you post available to everyone, forever. No matter how many times you mash that delete button, your notes won't get deleted by every relay.
It you want to buy sats, I'd recommend #Robosats or, get free sats by posting profound, inspirational words, or pics of your cat. Double zaps for kitten pics.
In your nostr client, look for an option like Backup Keys, that's your private key.
It'll start with nsec. Your public key starts with npub.
Other people will tell you to use a signer app. You most likely will eventually. Don't worry about it today though. There's plenty of time to learn about the ton of other cool things you can do with nostr. Nostr can be quite overwhelming at first because it's way, way more than just a social media app.
You have your lightning address in the wrong spot in your profile. You won't get zaps like that.
You can put a nip05 address in that spot. A nip05 address is an alias for your npub. Most nip05 providers can also map your nip05 to your lightning address.
That's why my nip05 and lightning address are the same in my profile. It's not my real lightning address in my profile.
