Always in the search of new knowledge, and eager to challenge it. I've been around Bitcoin since 2012. And I love being able to witness the rise, fall and resurgence of Bitcoin!

Having some issues today, the feed won't update

Other than Bitcoin and the values it enforces, what other things are you passionate about? I like technology and I'm learning how to code, and I'm being drawn into interacting with AI such Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and ChatGPT. Lately, ive been amazed about how Microsoft is implementing AI powered apps, as Bing, or Designer and I cannot wait to have a test ride at the new Office Copilot

At least I'm having more fun here.

See? and I think I can provide an example of this in a real life current scenario and That's what I like about Bukele for example in El Salvador. He checks plenty of boxes for a dictatorship regime for sure. And the resemblance between him and early Chavez day (that's the background I own) can lead people to believe it's going to be a catastrophe for the country, just as Chavez was for Venezuela. But authoritarianism aside, Bukele understood very well value in decentralization and censorship resistance, and the policies he's enforcing in his country are resulting in more GDP and overall wellness. For years, leftists in the world praised the Chavez model, because in a full censored restricted environment, the macroeconomic data they provided, showed whatever they wanted it to show, and in the end (of his government at least) he died being the richest man in the country. His legacy was enforced by Maduro but there was a limit and everything collapsed in the country. So you can take these two societies that somehow shared an authoritarian leader, and see how different they resulted on how they have different takes on everything. With Bitcoin is going to result the same. Some regimes will become fierce and wild , chasing capitals stopping at nothing; while other cultures will thrive in wellness and freedom.

Being arrested in Venezuela for just running a Bitcoin <> Fiat exchange back in 2016, I don't believe government are going to become more accountable to its citizens. I believe they will try to seize and take all forms of wealth they can get their hands on (the governments), with new laws and restrictions aimed to prevent the mobility of wealth from one jurisdiction to another. Being open about owning Bitcoin in the future is going to put people in danger, and will make people to have a front activity in order to avoid any harm for using Bitcoin. I believe this scenario is more likely to happen first than a citizen subduing government scenario. But it may just be due our different initial conditions.

I like Bitcoin, I think all other currencies out there just fall flat when compared to Bitcoin. Those iterations at the end will cut the noise and just will reinforce the Bitcoin dominance in the global scenario. So it's a matter of time and just enjoy the ride

I like to have my beliefs and convictions challenged all the time. That way I can keep improving and staying current. I neglected this space for too long and I regret it. But now that I'm finally here, in glad I did.

Amethyst. I tried Nostros first, but wasn't really much into it.

So,.let me get this straigh: everyone here is into Bitcoin, right?

Ain't nobody taking the other stance?

I felt like watching my dad playing candy crush and not making that awesome tasty move that will clear the board and makes him win that game.

I can't believe it only took me 1h 20 min to setup a profile in a new platform.

I'm getting out of shape 😅
