When you look at the different versions of his song, you can tell that someone has given him very knowledgeable advice. And I'm sure there are some unseen marketers in his orbit.
Fact is, that's necessary in today's world. The success of that song should be met with more respect than suspicion, I think.

The way this guy struck a chord with so many people is so genuine. You don't just hear the pain in his voice, you feel it. That's how you know it's genuine.

The ice cream truck was the most exciting thing when I was a kid. It didn't matter if I was riding a bike or playing a video game, when I heard that music I would sprint to that truck.
