Also, while it's a huge book and difficult to read, Rousseau's Emile is an incredible take on libertarian parenting. He's constantly criticizing the foolishness of society. The main idea behind it is that nature provides most of the lessons and that parents need to get out of nature's way.

Libertarians hate Rousseau because he wrote The Social Contract. What they don't know is that Rousseau wrote everything modern libertarians believe and expressed it with greater accuracy and clarity than any libertarian is capable of.
