I am really excited by this tech, even more so lately. On chain, some jpeg enthusiasts are attempting to add non fungibility to sats, lol!

Mate, down here in L2 we got second derivative sats flows held together by the mere notion that channel delta simulates perfect fungibility.

And also a social media simulation provided by LN and trustless relays. Good days ahead, the sats must flow. ⚡️

For the family, I would be suggest “layer 3” style overlay self hosted wallet/account system like LNBits running on your own LN node. (Analogous to “pocket money = L3”, it’s your money after all). The major lightning wallets are basically just this anyway on someone else’s L2 sats; you are an account in their liquidity network. Getting more folks to run nodes and host their own “LN wallets” is the way we build out this tech!
