that would be cool... but then one day they change their rules and you suddenly need the fake email (which of course you don't have anymore) as 2nd factor to access the wallet or whatever... it's just stupid and unnecessary imho π
Look into NWA and use an app like nostr:npub1kvaln6tm0re4d99q9e4ma788wpvnw0jzkz595cljtfgwhldd75xsj9tkzv
Did you mean NWC? I'm not sure what NWA means
Primal seems to be well done, but I really don't like, how they cozy-up with standard fiat-world mentality... this is not our goal guys!

You are LEGEND and you found your natural habitat.
Welcome to free speech without compromise π€π₯Ή
It's straight up censorship in disguise.
How do you prevent that a mint silently prints "out of thin air"?
So true π€£π€£
Everything will happen exactly as they promised π
The Orange Flash of #Freedom: Understanding and using the Bitcoin #Lightning network
by nostr:npub1m2mvvpjugwdehtaskrcl7ksvdqnnhnjur9v6g9v266nss504q7mqvlr8p9 #bookstr #BTCEDU
#Bitcoin has created digital gold - empowering many people to freely transact using a non-inflationary, non-manipulable hard form of money. The Lightning network builds upon this #innovation, offering a fast, scalable payment network, that can be used to instantly send and receive money over the internet. It is a basic protocol of the internet, similar to e-mail for communication, or web for accessing information or apps. #Lightningnetwork can be as complex as you need it to be. Installing and using a current generation bitcoin wallet that supports lightning can be learned in under three minutes. This book gives you an overview of various wallets, the inner working of lightning, bitcoin fees, and proposals to make Lightning scale and be an interoperable payment protocol, even beyond Bitcoin #blockchain.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced user, you'll discover that installing and using a modern #Bitcoinwallet with Lightning support can be mastered in just a few minutes.

I installed a lightning node on umbrel and tried to setup a channel. Lightning found a trillion reasons to not setup a channel and play chicken with me. This is just not a viable, good solution imho. I start to feel like eCash (CashU) without the Lightning-middleman is the way to go for broad adoption. Lightning sure can always be a part of the equation, but it should be demoted to purely optional π€·
I heard you like ecash, so we used ecash to secure ecash mints.
Blind authentication will allow mint operators to restrict the use of their mint to only registered users, while still providing them great privacy.
This is one of the most-requested features for Cashu.

The spec is now open for discussion: https://github.com/cashubtc/nuts/pull/198
What are the benefits to restrict usage of the mint? Maybe an example, because I don't see who benefits. Thanks! π
Oh boy... please imagine talking to a 2 year old child when attempting to explain this concept... we're literally on that level. Would be really helpful to have a rough but understandable concept to wrap our (very interested, but limited) minds around
Why does nostr:nprofile1qqs9xtvrphl7p8qnua0gk9zusft33lqjkqqr7cwkr6g8wusu0lle8jcpp3mhxue69uhkyunz9e5k7qg4waehxw309ajkgetw9ehx7um5wghxcctwvsqs6amnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0ds2g5zx8 require all that private info to activate it's wallet?
π¨ What?! I thought we were all working toward the holy grail of private anonymous payments..? π¨
You just described the whole journey π
