If I take your meaning, that’s what I do. No one on Nostr (save one person) knows my legal name. It’s kind of liberating. I’ve revealed things about myself here that no single offline friend or family member knows. On the other hand, I find myself being careful not to reveal information that might be useful to someone trying to dox me (e.g. the locality of my residence). That’s probably being a little paranoid, though. No one cares that much about nostr:npub1g0wmxtcsjnnmq7x2vdpymczss47ch5gzuwfkw47s22lehvklxa2scpuvzk .
Apparently I’ve been muted by two people, including a person I’m following. I don’t know why.
The people I mute are almost all spammers. There were a couple who replied to my notes with gratuitous racist comments. There was also one guy in global who posted notes in support of sex with children, with some art. (No actual child porn at the time, but I wasn’t going to wait.)
I’m not fond of surveys, though, because people lie. It would be better if someone studied duration of monogamous relationships vs. penis length. Or gave us the distribution of actual dildo sales by length.
