SimpleX: https://lnshort.it/symbsrcool-simplex/ dev that’s excited about Nostr - recently launched https://nokyctranslate.com

I want better #nostr #bots

I saw that guide and wasn’t sure if that same functionality would work if I didn’t care about external users and just wanted to send out payments or zaps from just my one account I control

Just interact with one account that I own and control - so I can send zaps (or just regular payments to lightning addresses specifically without having to deal with invoices) programmatically (like a bot that zaps people)

Super excited with the new #damus release #[2]

You can now do language translations with a paid service that accepts bitcoin and is super easy to set up, using #[3] - just click the link to get an API key, copy that key into the settings field, and then pay on the nokyctranslate.com website.

You can try it out with only 500 sats. We added some optimizations so you only translate the text part of notes, and it’s only the input text length that affects cost (0.1 sats per char for now) so a 140 char note would cost 14 sats, and many notes are less than this on #nostr. We’re working on making this cheaper.

Is it possible verify nip-05 with a static website hosted from github like a github.io website?

#nostr #nip #nips #verify #verification

You should think twice on iris at the moment, because nostr:npub1g53mukxnjkcmr94fhryzkqutdz2ukq4ks0gvy5af25rgmwsl4ngq43drvk is reimplementing the web ui nostr:note1dqw8t6ya5zfvty9zgnn4xw4aqstexduptn2krc2g2hypwzqtk8fqcslfpn

This is awesome, thanks a ton for the heads up! I’ll follow this work :)

#[0] what’s the simplest way to programmatically zap someone with alby? Would it be the keysend API call?

Thanks, you guys are awesome 🙏

What’s the average number of articles produced every year? Surely it’s been increasing with more news websites and more people using the internet, etc.

Would be good to know that as a control to the plots you show.

Knowledge gets distorted over time, it’s important for a small group of people to preserve and uphold the wisdom.

Also, one thing that’s interesting is that every couple hundred or thousand years different spiritual leaders come on the planet and give the knowledge that’s needed to those people at that point in time.

Krishna 5k years ago, Buddha 2.5k years ago, Jesus 2k years ago, adi shankara 1300 years ago, etc. the knowledge each of them gave had a different flavor because society was different at those times.

Anyway I’m agreeing with you, I’m just pointing out this is inevitable and more spiritual teachers will come and continue to help people.

At least this is my favorite theory (I don’t take this stuff too seriously either, it’s just fun to think about)

#[0] works perfectly

At a minimum patreon is KYC right? So this obviously way better

Ooooh what is this?
