I know I'm not their target audience, but that's just yet another reason I won't touch one of those things with a fucking 80-foot pole.
I'm not sure exactly what's true, but supposedly the bridge from threads to activity pub is one way for now. They can publish, but can't see comments from fedi just yet. I'm sure what gets through to threads is going to be filtered to the extreme, but it's still kinda interesting.
On the other hand, The first worry that pops into my head is meta doing loads more data harvesting via fedi. I know nostr is not private, but I left shit like Facebook *because* I don't want my data abused.....so I'm not sure how I feel about a bridge from meta to fedi and nostr.
Lmao. Im like halfway through a redo of mine. Same lack of posts issue.
Ngl as much as I despise the zuck....its wild to see his post all the way over on nostr.
That's actually a fucking great idea. It's got to exist somewhere.
Drive-through stores where there is a menu of the merchandise (groceries, electronics, clothes, etc.), payment window, and receiving window.
We have drive-throughs for food, why not everything else?

Some of the convenience stores in my area are drive-through, so you can get like a pack of smokes, soda, munchies all through a drive-through.
Slow kitchen days are kind of the worst. 😑 Nothing to cook, nothing to prep. Just kind of siting here listening to audiobooks, shooting the shit with my co-workers.
As someone who did construction for five years, mostly doing framing, that picture hurts my soul.
To each their own, I'm just a degenerate. 😂
A short answer is yes. I've cloned several of my own debit cards, I think even though a debit card is a different chipset than what comes with a Sats card, it's still possible.
I wonder how much time collectively Bitcoiners have spent waiting for nodes to sync. With all the nodes that I've ran, I can guess I've probably waited a month or more in terms of real time waiting for my nodes to sync.
I know for a fact with my current primary node I can do an IBD in around 15 hours but running a full node on a Pi I know can sometimes take weeks to sync especially if you're downloading over TOR.
I know it's a really arbitrary measurement and probably something we'll never know but it is kind of funny trying to think about how much time people have waited for notes to sync fully.
So...Close.....

You seem to be missing vodka in that orange juice. Not sure about the eggs.
