I agree with Altman that “the whole structure of society itself will be up for some degree of debate and reconfiguration”.
Where I disagree with Altman is that an autist fuck who molested his sister, who wants $7 Trillion for new chips and sought to scan the retinas of everyone on the planet in exchange for shitcoins - should be anywhere in the conversation of what that reconfiguration should look like.
Bitcoiners need to think beyond dropping sound money into fiat systems of politics, finance and business. We need greater vision for outsiders to adopt which compete directly with the other articulated visions for the future. https://v.nostr.build/aQe4L.mp4 nostr:note1ymepm3f2zvuasdedmqg697a62hkwwq76zyjre0qkshetey2xuh4sqp39mr
I actually don't think Peter Thiel fully gets Bitcoin. I remember watching a speech he gave at a conference in which even though he was trying to pander to the crowd, he made no sense.
I think Thiels range of possibilities is dependent on the current incentive structure remaining in place. There's no reason that AI authoritarianism, Sharia law, and extreme environmentalism, can't all happen at the same time under that scenario. It's just a matter who consolidates power.
What I think Thiel doesn't get is that Bitcoin changes people's incentives. The power derived from the fiat machine is neutered. The ensuing political system will be an emergent property of the new underlying incentive structure.
I basically don't listen or engage anymore in political debates which aren't premised on hyperbitcoinisation.
Also, Sam Altman can eat shit and die.
People will live in a barren wasteland just to be close to the fiat spigot.
Cheers mate.
Also your lightning address doesn't seem to be working
How will this mesh with the <$10k bank transfer rules? Can anyone buy the ETF then transfer out the coins?
Probably something like this.
My favourite type of fiat brain cancer is the one where they'd rather believe computers didn't increase productivity than question the integrity of the money supply.
We moved to the country six months ago.
It has been one of the best decisions we've ever made.
Fiat clown world demands a premium for property according to its proximity to the fiat spigot. Natural beauty is underpriced.
Move to the country anon.
Choose beauty.

Maybe the best brisket I've ever cooked.
Fuck I hate banks.
One of my mates thought he'd try and be clever and trade the cycles, now he can't get back in.
"In the 20th century we have passed through a unique period, one in which architecture as a discipline has been in a state that is almost unimaginably bad. Sometimes I think of it as a mass psychosis of unprecedented dimension, in which the people of earth - in large numbers and in almost all contemporary societies - have created a form of architecture which is against life, insane, image-ridden, hollow."
Christopher Alexander - the nature of order
I think ANZ still lets people do whatever amount they want... CBA doesn't even let DCA amounts go through without friction.
Canadian MP Laurel Collins: "Climate emergencies are not gender neutral. The degradation of ecosystems disproportionately impacts women and girls, and I am wildly emotional. This is the existential crisis of our time."
A wildly emotional woman is an elected representative, pushing climate cultism by law.
These people are going to order “deniers” to be rounded up and put in gulags in support of their ideology. We cannot share a society with people who think like this, it’s is too incoherent and fragmented and they are too dangerous to have power over others. https://v.nostr.build/oM0VL.mp4
100 seconds about why the word "hysteria" was used in the right context.
Fiat delenda est.
