this feel too complicated. just rely on relay for moderation, right now relay feel likes a data redundancy layer on nostr, but eventually each relay will became its own social community focus on specific topics and interests and acts as a content moderation/curation box that user can plug-in
couple days ago I just register the hongkong nostr meetup from undefinednostrasia is it normal to not receiving any feedback now? I am looking foraward to meet a bunch of nostr friends offline.
😄😄想知道这个大概是几几年的事情?
lol very interesting!
breaking news, I am officially a "micro relay, not micro app" maximalists
没太理解,这里指的是什么场景下?在客户端里面做这个打包的动作吗?
I installed it a long time ago but never open it again. what is the best thing you like about arc?
yes, and it would be nice to have std lib in the sandbox that covers the detail of ws/relay manager/data-fetching that sort of things
I am glad somebody tried something like this. I have some related thoughts about this. the point is to leverage the verifiable code that is not hosted P2P nor works like a smart contract. just like the way Nostr doing social media stuff
right now. I think it will have a very delightful position and move Nostr to the next level. but
a little bit early for the phase we are currently at. nostr:note1qmdx3wwyn8da9kfcsjwetsa5rgezkeq6yu7scrd6p7yjgxd2pw4qa6d3l2
this is the most excitest thing I want to work on nostr. but maybe a little too early for now.
it is actually not about the language but rather a VM that has some sort of std environment including relays and nostr stuff syscalls that can be easily ref and used to do stuff people want. the language can be compiled to wasm and executed in the browser. in that sense, the code should be put as a special event kind and stored on the nostr. eventually, we will have a plugin ecosystem where the code can be verified since the code events have signatures on them and people can choose the author they trust to load and run their code. it is like a new web system with a built-in decentralized app store.
I have a similar thought about this back in February. and still very interested in such a thing, feel free to build together
