If America sanctions every other country, isn't America the one left isolated? Russia, Iran and China together make up a sizable chunk of population and resources. Add in India, who remain unaligned, and they can be quite self sustaining.

Yes it could. Drone strikes in Russia today. That's gonna poke the bear. Pray for peace and the people of both nations. The west fooled around in 2014 and 2021 with regime change and shelling. Currently in the find out stage, but also doing a bit more fooling around to see what happens. More finding out to follow, I suspect.
Although I enjoyed bitcoin adoption last 10+ years (especially the investment returns), I am really looking forward to the vertical part of the S-curve in the next halving period (2024-2028)š

Yelled going to Ukraine is a worrying development. It signals a deapening commitment at all levels of government and 'elites'. These aren't the sort of people who can admit they may have miscalculated. It entrenches their commitment to war every time a high profile person goes to Ukraine. Russia isn't going to back down. This is looking bad for the peasants. "When elephants fight, the grass gets trampled".
The risks are growing every day. I hope they can step back.
Great post. Nostr has the potential to pull in a huge number of non-bitcoiners. At the moment it's massively bitcoin centric, which is fine. Other people will come for the censorship resistance of social media etc., but the realize they stumbled into a whole permissionless world.
The US blows up a German pipeline and the world gives a collective shrug. The apathy from all sides is the most disturbing. It will embolden future acts, putting the world at ever greater risk.
