My best friend (Full-Time Instagram influencer) recently had her account suspended because Meta 'suspected' she was pretending to be someone else â simply because she didnât pay for verification.
She was left waiting for a month (an entire month without income!) before finally hearing back. Metaâs response? Pay to get your account back or remain in limbo indefinitely.
They shut down her account, blocked her from working, and then demanded payment to restore it. How is this even remotely acceptable?
I told her about Nostr â She wasnât interested.
So yet, we continue to let these corporations dictate the terms of our digital lives.
