deving in bitcoin, ai, & fintech. currently: @bitcoinlayers, @mainline_intel, @carryhq_

Want to follow up on my Bitcoin Layers product post last week with an intro and some thanks.

I first got into bitcoin in 2014, discovering Andreas Antonopoulos. Attended my first hackathon in 2016 at Chainsmiths in Dublin.

My team built a bitcoin research app called OpenResearch.

(that's me on the right)

I got my first bitcoin job recently and I'm super stoked about it.

If you're a dev or designer looking to break into the space and see an opportunity on socials, I encourage you to send that DM. You never know where it might lead!

I want to thank the Bitcoin Layers team for bringing me on and trusting in my abilities.

I also want to thank my buddy Brian Harrington for supporting me along the way and connecting me to a lot of good people in bitcoin.

Lastly, I need to thank Chaincode Labs for all of their bitcoin training. Check them out! They are truly GOATed.

I wouldn’t be where I am today or know as much as I do without their help or the help of the others mentioned above + many others.

gm - mike here from @bitcoinlayers (on X). i’m one of the devs

we added data to specific project pages. while people love our research, we get a lot of demand for specific data metrics

so we added dynamic area charts to easily visualize layer metrics, starting with tvl

great thing about the charts is that they are updated daily as new data comes in.

next up we’ll be building out transaction count, volume, and how much each project is paying in fees to bitcoin miners

WE HAVE ONE MORE ROUND

What does it mean for something to be “sufficiently decentralized”? According to? 🫠
