Whenever it's possible I try to repair things and safe the unspent costs in satoshis. A dickhead destroyed one mirror of my wife's car. I reassembled and glued the parts, polished and repainted the plastic. The result was OK, not perfect but it will do. Thinking about setting up a local repair café, based on lightning payments.
