"Everyone gets the price they deserve"
I think we're exposing an attack surface on ourselves with that statement. To explain, I've known some very wealthy fiat banking families who have monopolistic advantage - being close to low interest money spigots and then on-selling at a higher rate. Plus amplification with leverage.
All because of proximity to the money printer and often able to hand down the monopoly to their descendants.
When I ask their justification for getting something for nothing they often reply
"If we're smart enough to find opportunity and shut out all competition and keep it for ourselves and family, we deserve every penny that comes to us"
Genuine question now.
When it's our turn to become oligarchs, or the next 0.1% are we going to say the same? That we deserve everything that comes to us because we were smart enough to find opportunity and keep it?
(I spend a lot of time pondering the direction of future narratives and how populists might assemble the masses who were left behind to come for us)
Thank God!
Keeping up with all those extra zero's was becoming really stressful 😉
Reminds me of an earlier time installing BBS's in unsecured bank mainframes back in the 70's and 80's.
That's where we met the famous "Mendax" (Julian Assange)
Indians comb castor oil through their hair every day to make it super long
Je suis désolé, je voulais dire 100 000 satoshis
Leur minimum est de 1 000 000 de satoshis
I also got that on my WoS.
Lightning is fast. Not sure about my 62 year old hands 😉
When cars were invented, what would we call freedom?
1) Driving the thing and enjoying the frill?
or
2) Moaning about horses all day?
I understand your point about circular and seeking experience
But if we factor the usual emergent history of any currency and if it applies to Bitcoin
For example:
Collectible > Store of Value > Medium of exchange > Unit of account
Not that these levels are equally distributed but I have the assumption we are mainly between level 1 and 2, and that MoE is only for a tiny fraction of Bitcoin holders
And I don't have a job to offer anyone but I can offer the advice that converting the a portion of the kindness of strangers into Bitcoin may be the only optimal strategy for their situation
Disclosure:
I was homeless and had to rely on meager busking income to survive for 5 years on the streets. After food everything went into Bitcoin. I'm very rich now but I still sleep on cardboard (it's amazing what great furniture you can make with it 😉)
No way.
I prefer sleeping on cardboard and advising homeless people to turn a portion of their panhandling into Bitcoin
Hi. I have WoS and have no problem receiving sats.
But it wont display and I can't send
Only if they accept fiat.
Bitcoin is too precious to spend on a hotel
