I would not compare #nostr to X only. it is just the easiest to adapt and therefore the first use case.
In general, nostr is that what the internet was intended to be. No huge centralized Servers and entities.
And it solves the #authentication issue of the #internet as well.

I just reposted one of my #notes, I see it immediately on #primal web and primal android. But i'ts missing on #amethyst android on my standard feed.
On other #web #clients like snort it depends on the filters of which feed I'm following. So, check your #feed settings.
On amethyst I have to check them as well I guess 🤓
Yes indee, they "solve" a problem wich can be solved much easier and at much less cost with a centralized database. So, frankly, the tech is useless.
Therefore, sooner or later they will probably loose all their users. At leat they will loose like stocks, bonds, real eastate, etc. in value against #bitcoin.
For me, they are just nothing else than an evolved form a stock. That's fine but everyone should know what he or she is doing.
I think so, sometimes it takes a few seconds or even minutes till everything is in sync on different clients. I think this depends on the connected relays.
Once I couldn't post with primal, then I used snort and the same note was published.
Ususally I don't write notes on the phone, it's too clumsy.
Chaos is fair...

no, a wallet is not necessary. rather a connection to a relay which supports this hashtag. introductions should be on every relay.
On some clients you just have to follow the hashtag to have it in your feed. or you have so select a different feed like global, follows, trends, ... I'm this case introductions would be in global as well as in follows if you follow it

The link to your thread did not work in #primal, #snort and #nostter. I just got the string. With #noStrudl, #Rabbit and #Coracle also the link worked. Right now I'm using Coracle to write this answer.
I hope my link above to my original note will work on your #client.
So I still don't have a favorite one... maybe it will depend for me on what I'm up to. My main client is Primal (I like the UI) but noStrudl offers much more features. Maybe in the long run those two will be my most used ones.

I use Grok... I know it's kind of blasphemy to use X stuff for #nostr, but I prefer Grok over anything else out there, which is much more biased than Grok
