Where do I claim my virtual-attendee badge? 👀
How about now?
Surprising continued growth of mastodon.

The user count does not correlate well with the toots count but this being a very short time window, I wonder what a longer term chart looks like.
I created an account on mastodon but never used it much. People create accounts to try it out and then never delete them. The most solid simple metric is monthly active "real" accounts. Heuristics to find "real" accounts might be that they at least have some followers.
Easier said then done. I'll announce a bounty for Astral ...
I see 50 **and** 55sat ;)
Astral is getting worse with more follows. It now crashes the tab consistently. I love its features and wish #[2] could pull this off and make it keep up with the rest.
Using nostr web clients on the desktop currently is super exciting with extensions. Just switch through multiple clients as you run into flaws. I use snort and reluctantly cause closed source nostrgram but there's so many options out there.

#[0] you had been working on nwiki and proposed to put the nip registry on nostr. What's your thoughts on this:
That is correct. My btcpayserver appears to not support it yet. But not going to a big custodian for that.
Trying this blog thing, musing about how to build an actual decentralized Wikipedia ... or a nip registry for a start: https://habla.news/a/naddr1qqdxsmmh23h5xmmwwdhkc6tyv96x2nr0den5vmmjd4zkuq3qgm7tuvr9atc6u7q3gevjfeyfyvmrlul4y67k7u7hcxztz67ceexsxpqqqp65wg2apxr

Apparently it works.

I zapped this note but it's not showing?

I tried again and this time it was faster but very confusing. Loading threads can be disorienting but once loaded it's clear. I do think though that Twitter has it right when showing threads:
* All revolves around the selected Tweet which is shown scaled up
* Parent Tweets are shown as a linear sequence up to the root Tweet
* Children are shown as replies to the selected Tweet
* Some are shown with their respective reply
The event I'm replying to shows up in my notifications. When I click it, it loads half a thread with the root event missing and as soon as that's loaded(?) the whole thread disappears and I get an empty page.
Yeah, I'm almost always without headphones and just wouldn't open audio-only content. It taking up that much space is only a distraction for me.
Noice! So ... what's this voodoo? A playlist in kind-1 or is this another kind displayed by snort?
(Sorry, I'm not your target audience but I think I would rather opt out of getting playlists, so if this is kind-playlist, maybe there could be an option?)
