https://walletscrutiny.com https://nostr.info Working on Bitcoin, Nostr and being a good dad.

I'm sure, git itself will be part of the solution. I could imagine there being an extension to git so you can clone a repository without caring about the IP of the server - instead of "https" or "ssh" you would use "nostr" - but that's details.

I just suggested to refine the bounty in the context of a sub-bounty: nostr:nevent1qqstnz0v5szg9r995xqxk9pyfltgea9xk68ewsap3csl8stc3l26lxsgajg7e

May I suggest to break out smaller bounties. It's $290k to fulfill a seemingly herculean task that requires to assemble a team and work out many details that you have not defined and neither does anybody know what others are working on.

How about awarding $10k of that money for the 3 best proposals (5k, 3k, 2k) to tackle the big task in time and budget. These proposals have to detail sub-tasks that again can be accomplished in short sprints.

Pay out +$10k every week or two so people see it's real and in reach.

Ironically Snort shows your reply in a way I can't tell if it's an impersonator or not. Had to click on the avatar to confirm it's an account I'm following but I have again not double-checked: You might still be somebody else I'm following, pretending to be you.

Imagine you want to use your favorite decentralized social media but you can't because the server is down. 🤣

The game is one I would not want to see being plaid much on nostr for its scammy nature. It's been plaid with cash on a million occasions and those most drawn to play it are scammers.

I'm not assuming you would make a living of scamming other people but for the flaws mentioned, I would prefer to see less of this kind of games here. To suggest this was a good thing to play on nostr is over-selling zaps and nostr and can back-fire.

TLDR: I don't like this game.

Kind of scammy if you ask me. Intended to have more than 2 participants trying to match each other, you are almost guaranteed to never pay in this game so the expected return for players is negative.

You need a contingency for really high-ballers. Node has no 1BTC liquidity or you have an emergency sock-puppet to out-bid the high-baller. After all, you introduced no check on timestamps, so you could always fit in an event after high-baller and before timeout. And so could they ... ten minutes later and nobody would have proof of anything.

What? The Note is empty and not referencing anything. Am I taking crazy pills?

My brother called ChatGPT a loud-mouthed intern.

Or, as we do speak German, his actual expression was "vorlauter Praktikant", which according to ChatGPT would be "cheeky intern" or "impudent intern".

Anyway, damn it, why can't it just admit when it has no clue? Here, it's getting it completely wrong:

The only times ChatGPT passes on opining on a subject is when it's explicitly forbidden to talk about it.

On Android, notifications can be generated from a service that pulls from relays. It's just limited in how often you can do that. Twice per hour or so I think. Much better than nothing.

Reminds me of a friend who - upon receiving a quarter-a-shot espresso decided to add sugar worth the $8 to his overpriced drink.

Then there is the all too understandable drive of people wanting the best for their babies. Child mortality was basically eradicated but children still die in stupid accidents. We build playgrounds without concrete corners and put up barriers wherever it could get dangerous. We don't want our off-springs to suffer debilitating injury but don't want to wrap them in cotton wool neither. I want my daughter experience danger without serious harm. I would employ a deus-ex-machina that would make sure she won't die while I'm not there to protect her. How far would that go? Did my parents do exactly that? Are we maybe even immortal? Or did we get full circle and invented the same protection for our children inside the Matrix, not realizing we already were in the Matrix to begin with? How many levels are there?

"The Matrix" explained why the machines entertain human brains with this whole simulation. I couldn't find the scene in half an hour of searching for it but the argument is about the stimulus needed for humans to thrive.
