Shutting out all external sense objects, keeping the eyes and vision concentrated between the two eyebrows, suspending the inward and outward breaths within the nostrils, and thus controlling the mind, senses and intelligence, the transcendentalist aiming at liberation becomes free from desire, fear and anger. One who is always in this state is certainly liberated. #BhagavadGita
Do not answer any argument, but go away calmly, because arguments only disturb the mind. The only thing necessary is to train the intellect, what is the use of disturbing it for nothing? The intellect is but a weak instrument, and can give us only knowledge limited by the senses. The Yogi wants to go beyond the senses, therefore intellect is of no use to him. He is certain of this and, therefore, is silent, and does not argue. Every argument throws his mind out of balance, creates a disturbance in the Chitta, and a disturbance is a drawback.

Truly dualism is the root of suffering. There is no other remedy for it than the realisation that all this that we see is unreal, and that I am the one stainless reality, consisting of consciousness.
If you have any problems in life, don't blame others. Because it is your karma that brings these bad experiences to you. A good seeker or student understands this and does not complain.
#Gurudev
Do not be like the naughty child who wants to do the very thing he is told not to do... Evil was made sweet to delude you. You have to use your discrimination to distinguish between poisoned honey and that which is in your best interest.
Avoid those things that will ultimately hurt you, and choose those that will give give you freedom and happiness.
#ParamahansaYogananda
For one who has conquered the mind, the Supersoul is already reached, for he has attained tranquillity. To such a man happiness and distress, heat and cold, honor and dishonor are all the same.
#BhagavadGita
You came to earth to accomplish a divine mission Ito be reunited with Godl. Realize how tremendously important that is! Do not allow the narrow ego to obstruct your attainment of an infinite goal.
#ParamahansaYogananda
If anyone hurts you and you forgive him, you are leading yourself to the kingdom of God.
If anyone is quarrelsome and you give understanding, you are taking yourself to the kingdom of God.
If someone is suffering and you reach out with aid and compassion, you are moving into the presence of God.
#ParamahansaYogananda
One should be capable of forgetting things. That is far more important than the capacity to remember things.
Remembrance is very ordinary; forgetfulness is unique.
And many people suffer from remembrance.
Remembrance is like going on playing with your wounds so you never allow them to heal. The healing comes through forgetfulness. Forgetfulness is healing - and if you can forget the past you are forgiving the past.

The ego is an iceberg. Melt it.
Melt it in deep love, so it disappears and you become part of the ocean.

Our death is our wedding with eternity.

There will come a time one will have to forget all that one has learned.

Let that which happens, happen as it has to happen [i.e. as it is destined by God to happen].
Do not think to go against it even in the least.
Without doing anything as a new starting, abide as one with the Sakshi [Self] who peacefully shines in the Heart.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
The Heart is not physical.
Meditation should not be on the right or the left.
Meditation should be on the Self.
Everyone knows I am.
Who is the I?
It will be neither within nor without, neither on the right nor on the left.
I am' - that is all.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
The body is itself a mere projection of the mind, and the mind is but a poor reflection of the radiant heart.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
We are reading the printed characters on paper but ignore the paper which is the background.
Similarly you are taken up by the manifestations of the mind and let go the background.
#SriRamanaMaharshi
Just as the sun cannot be seen in a densely clouded sky, so one's own Self cannot be seen in a mind-sky which is darkened by a dense cloud of thoughts.
