*The last words of Gautama the Buddha on the Earth were : Be a light unto yourself. Do not follow others, do not imitate, because imitation, following, creates stupidity. You are born with a tremendous possibility of Intelligence. You are born with a light within you. Listen to the still, small voice within, and that will guide you.
Nobody else can guide you, nobody else can
become a model for your life, because you are unique. This is your glory, your grandeur - that you are utterly irreplaceable, that you are just yourself and nobody else." #OSHO

Happy world Buddhist Flag day and GM 😌🌞
World Buddhist
Flag Day,
celebrated on
8th
January,
commemorates the adoption of the Buddhist flag as a symbol of unity
among
Buddhists
worldwide.
This flag, designed in 1885 in Sri Lanka, represents the universal brotherhood and teachings of the Buddha.
It was formally adopted as the international Buddhist flag in 1950 at the World Fellowship of Buddhists' inaugural meeting in Sri Lanka.
The flag consists of six vertical stripes
of different
colors,
symbolizing
the
radiance
emanated by the Buddha after his enlightenment:
1. Blue: Compassion and peace
2. Yellow: The Middle Path and balance
3.Red: Achievement, blessings and wisdom
4. White: Purity and liberation
5. Orange: Unshakable wisdom
6.Combination Stripe: Unity in diversity
and
universal
inclusiveness
The Buddhist flag serves as a unifying symbol for Buddhists globally, transcending national, cultural, and ethnic boundaries.
It is a reminder of the core
Buddhist values:
compassion,
wisdom, and nonviolence; an emblem that inspires global peace and harmony.
On World Buddhist Flag Day, Buddhists display the flag at homes, Buddha Viharas and public spaces.
They hold meditation sessions, and
I discussions on Buddha's teachings and promote interfaith dialogue
and
activities
advocating peace and equality.
Let's renew ourselves
this New Year from
ego to pure consciousness, ignorance to knowledge, darkness to light and death to immortality.

#MOOJI Profound Meditation: What is the Peace of Christ?
"They say, "Please help me destroy this ego that is causing so much trouble. I want to be rid of it!" However, I prefer to say "transcend the ego" rather than "destroy it." You cannot destroy a ghost, but you can realize the truth of its illusory nature, and then you will no longer be intimidated by it."
