Duck's just this guy, you know?

Jack would have to put a file on a domain stating that he's the only one that can claim to be jack at that domain.

What's the event type for posting the required metadata to offer an item for sale using LN in supporting clients?

to any extent that a relay could be a point of failure, there can always be another relay out there serving up that same data.

Assuming you're not posting to only a single relay.

multiply replicated single points of failure

I made a commitment to not remove laser eyes from my twitter but I didn't commit to changing my avatar across all of my socials. I will leave the eyes blazing on Twitter for as long as it takes, but the long term future of Twitter is in doubt. (I have no doubts about Bitcoin)

It's going to be sad if Twitter goes down before Bitcoin hits 100K

save a copy of all the git repos of the clients now. You can always choose the client you like that won't censor you.

And at the best all you can do is kindly request that they destroy any copies of your message they may have.

An interesting attribute of nostr is how you can't tell for sure if the earliest post you can see is actually the earliest posted.

Except for the fact that everybody's first post is either "hello world", "testing", or "running nostr"

At one point early on you could issue track commands over xmpp and get all the tweets on a topic.

I remember watching the feed when the news broke that Heath Ledger had died. That feature didn't last.

I want a "global" feed per-relay. I should be able to view the global of my highly-curated private relay community without having to see the global of all the other relays I'm on.

My trick was, since I had uploaded my picture to a mastodon instance previously, I was able to grab the image url and put it here. It's in a CDN so it should always serve nice and fast.

Imagine if the kids realized that they could use nostr to get around the highschool firewalls
